I originally thought Tony Stark, but on second consideration, no, that's not quite right. They're Angela Spica - The Engineer from The Authority.
Masquerade
Legion, Professor X's multiple-personality son with a different power for each personality. Crazy Jane from Doom Patrol is another good choice
Old-Worlders
Kamandi, the Last Boy on Earth
Mechanica
Oh so many good choices… Cyborg from the Titans and Justice League. The Brain (of Monsieur Mallah And…). But for getting your body blown apart and put back together, few people beat Cliff Steele from Doom Patrol.
The Builders
Sadly, Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn't really count here (though he's still a good choice). Deadman doesn't fit quite as well; in fact, Cliff Steele above fits better because he eventually ends up as a computer intelligence, but he's more physical afterwards rather than less. Barb Gordon as Oracle? No - paralyzed is not dead. The best I can come up with right now is Doctor Strange from the Earth X series when he was trapped in his astral form.
Any suggestions for other civs?
