By use of Chronotech, one can send messages faster than light without the need of wormholes (in case Chronotech is not itself based on wormholes, that is).
If someone needs to have an information arriving in an instant at a location in the distance X, he simply sends this information to himself in the past. He has to send this information so far into the past that the time difference between past and present equals the distance X divided by speed of light. In the past, the information is sent to the desired destination as e.g. a radio signal. It will arrive at the destination in the present. This is basically a slipshank operation. If it is not based on wormholes, this communication cannot be prevented by a Wormhole Interdiction Field.
In case player and character should know the same, the use of the FTL communicator would require the Mind Redactor (see there). Alternatively, the message could be sent using the character in the past as a proxy only, so that he is not aware of the message at all.
