Page 1: I don't like the second sentence; drop "essentially"? Also, when introducing the patent office, you mention the Ts as if you've already introduced them, but haven't. I would rework that paragraph or add a new one to better introduce the Ts; even something as small as "It is an open secret that the Transcendental Artificial Intelligences, time-spanning machines who claim benevolence, are the primary force behind the Patent Office"
Section 1: I would include a brief bit in the first section going over the various game mechanics, before the glossary, or move the glossary. This will also help when you get to Character Creation, as you haven't spent much time introducing all the concepts a player needs to make decisions about by the time you get there.
Page 5 - You should either remove the cargo cults from the demo, or introduce them on this page with the three others.
Page 6 - Give a caption to the Masquerade image. It's visual placement makes me want to think it's a Union picture.
Page 7 - Either put a bigger and more obvious break between the Union section and the Stored section, or make the break between the Masquerade the Union similarly small.
Page 10 - Picking core values. You list CVs in the civilization descriptions, but ask the player to pick all 4. The combination might be confusing. You talk about age and how it relates to professions in the example, but you don't explain the mathematical relationship.
Page 12 - Should be something like: "Roll the Offense rating listed for the kind of conflict you’re in. The next section contains a list of types."
Page 13 - Not everyone is familiar with the concept of "meme". Explain it here and/or put an entry in the Glossary.
Page 20 - The End, for Now - You might want to aviod saying there are many more rules in the full version since some people may be turned off by thinking you mean actual rules (when you're allowed to do things and when not, like how complicated D&D combat is from a rules perspective), rather than content. Maybe "the full version is nearly ten times", instead.
