The Goal: Describe a method by which a single person, in the S.A. universe, could go from Earth into low Earth orbit at an altitude of roughly 500 kilometers.
Fair Assumptions: Access to a replicator and transmutation chamber before the ascent, but not during. You get to pick the latitude and longitude of the launch, and may start at any altitude that could be reached by an unassisted human being (e.g. the top of Mt. Everest). The path to orbit is relatively clear.
Parameters: All tech levels are allowed. The ideal winning solution will be one that combines low energy cost, quick ascent, and an ingenious method. Methods that have the potential for serious damage to property, self, or others are less likely to win. Bonus points for reaching escape velocity.
