It's possible to lock the travel grid on a local level with Industry 4. I realized something about that not too long ago. If every travel grid access point in the multiverse can be used to reach every other point in the multiverse and then some(worlds beyond), does that mean every locked access point locks every door in the travel grid that leads to that point, a number of doors that would presumably take scientific notation to measure?
For a more discussable question, is Travel Grid interdiction something that can be done in combat time to cut off somebody's retreat options like an Interdictor Cruiser out of Star Wars? I suspect not, given how it presumably would take killing them to break unless the interdiction was sustained by the interdictor's concentration. Given how fast people can fly/move with physical enhancement, it'd probably be easier to get out of the hypothetical human interdictor cruiser's range anyways unless the interdictor was supplemented by something else.
