1 & 2. I’m still thinking about these. Will come back later.
3. Tie into available expertises and give neuroform-specific rules (such as vulnerabilities)? I put a few ideas just now into Rebound’s page just before you posted this, as I was trying to figure out good Unbound neuroforms and what they would do.
4. Just as you were posting this, I posted about having an “Action” theme, which may help a bit. I think a few additional well-chosen themes, and a careful look at the complications system, may help here.
5. I don’t see the problem with having the Patent Office as the default, and just heavily supporting everything else. This may be a good place for expansions to the core game, later. Most game systems just add more to the main setting and intended campaign style. Your expansions could be entirely new ways of having campaigns.
Some points to remember:
1 – This is a good list.
2 – My ongoing criticisms are because I want SA 2.0 to be incrediawesome. It is already, as written, a very good game. If my criticisms sap your resolve and convince you that you can’t succeed, then everything I am working for has turned to ash. Remember: you have already succeeded.
2a – No, really, you have already succeeded. This next step is standing upon the mountain you have forged and striving ever higher because you can.
